How the price is built
SHIMI pricing is deliberately simple. Two numbers drive every quote: a base fare that depends on the vehicle class, and a per-kilometre rate for the distance of your trip. Basic loading and offloading by the driver is already included. You're not quoted separately for the vehicle and the labour.
On top of that, only what you actually use is added: extra offloading assistants (a flat rate each), additional drop-off stops, and stair carrying per floor. Trips where the pickup is outside Gauteng carry a regional premium on the base-and-distance portion. VAT is applied at the end. That's the whole model: what you see in the quote is what you pay.

Local Gauteng runs are priced on distance at the base rate. Trips where the pickup is in the rest of South Africa carry a regional premium on the base-and-distance portion, reflecting the longer positioning and return legs. The premium is shown in your quote.
Basic loading and offloading by the driver is included in every booking. If you need extra hands (for stairs, a tight doorway or a very heavy item), you can add offloading assistance at a flat rate per assistant when you get your quote.
